I enjoy reading a clean fun story that I can escape in for a little while. Mail order brides have intrigued me because of the unknown about what these young woman were walking into and the faith that they had in God to provide a love worth the risk. This was a good book and I enjoyed reading it. The story line left me wanting to read more by this author.Product details

Loved this short exciting, must read book about taking a leap of faith and I can't was read more from this writer.
A great written short story full of love honesty forgiveness and lack of judgement this book puts a smile on your face and in your heart!

Even though this was a short story it was quite meaningful at least to me seeing as I also have a weight problem all my life and have been married to my husband for 48 years.
If you are looking for a good, quick and easy read, then you have found your book. A BBW mail order bride that stays true to herself. Gotta love a girl who knows what she wants.
Levi and Lucy's story starts and finishes quickly, but still is a fun read. Lucy pulls at your heart strings from the very beginning and keeps you invested in her happiness.
I would like to see some historical details. If I hadn't known the time period it would have been hard to guess from the story. No details about dress, the hotel, or even the ride out to the ranch which must have been in a buggy or cart of some kind.
Very little characterization. Very short. One simple plot turn.
This book lets the reader feel some of the doubts and feelings that must have been present as couples came together, first through letters and then in person. This story is a relative short one but still was well written and leaves the reader wanting more. I liked it and will look for more stories from this author. If you want a short story that makes you feel good, I would recommend this one!
