This book is hilarious. I'm in my thirties but as an educator I am always excited to read books of all kinds that I can recommend to my students, even my reluctant readers. It did have me think, like toy story, what if trash could talk. I enjoyed this book and will recommend it to my kids.I love how everything that we see as trash was given a voice and a point of view. I am going to read this to my 5th grade class and turn it into a creative writing project.Product details

Litter Bug Kelly Renée 9781463523343 Books Reviews
Loved it. Good talent can't wait to read other books. Recommend to all ages. I read it during work and it made my time go faster. Wrids.
I have had this for a while and just got around to reading it. Once I put myself in the mind of a child I really enjoyed this quirky little tale of ***Spoiler*** a boy and his wrappers. A child's imagination is a wonderful thing and this book is written as if it emerged straight out of that age of innocence.
Kelly is an amazing up and coming writer. Litter Bug was a great book. Her ideas are fresh and intriguing. 8 can't wait to see what she puts out next!
A cute and well-written piece. A lovely way of seeing the world thru a different set of eyes - a child's! And it doesn't get any more honest than that!
Great book
When I was offered the chance to get this book for free, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to help a friend of mine by giving her my true opinion on her work. That is what I will do here
The story is very hard to get into or enthused about. It was a chore to read it from beginning to end. I found no joy in reading it and very little, if not any, humor hit me in the way I assume it was meant to. I had to put the book down to try and figure out what is going on a lot. Not a good thing to have happen if you want your audience to read on.
The story is very choppy and repetitive. I also found that the characters were hollow and nothing to get excited over. The dialogue is very wooden and unconvincing.
As for the story itself, I was unable to place myself in the shoes of any of the characters. I also don't understand why there was the entire unneeded story about the candy wrappers getting married. I'm also not sure why the dying alone parts were so important as well. If this was meant to be a children's book, death I would expect, would be the furthest from the forethought of a child.
It is a children's book, so I will let go of how easily everything came together for the group of kids to get what they wanted done, but it is hard to swallow as an adult.
In conclusion, I would have to give this book a one star because of the lack of enjoyment. The story needs development if not just scrapped and started over. The story seems to be tailored around environmentalism instead of the other way around. I hope in the future you take time to flesh out your ideas, make sure it is not choppy, ensure all spelling and grammar is correct, and that it is enjoyable to read.
This is a great book and would recommend Litter Bug to everyone. Some parts made me laugh. But also it hits home on the problems of littering and keeping our environment clean. Highly recommend that teachers buy Litter Bug and read it to their students. Students could learn about keeping our environment clean and healthy from Litter Bug. I really enjoyed reading Litter Bug. Great Job Kelly Renee.
