I've yet to be disappointed in one of her stories. Its gems like her that make my Unlimited membership worth it.
Even for a short story, this was beyond ridiculous. They've known each other for fewer than 24 hours, but he convinced her to change her mind about something she believed since childhood with 3 sentences that only make a difference because he said them ( her family saying the same thing apparently didn't matter) and for no reason at all, they're in love. This is the kind of thing that makes me leery of anything termed "romance" since this was anything but.
Izzy is content in her day to day life until fate brings her more than she can imagine. Danny is here on a mission and is surprised when fate drops him into his mates life. Unaware they are fated, Izzy agrees to help Danny complete his mission.
All Dragons are protectors, but one is a real estate agent for the paranormal community, so she feels she is not. One night while out looking at an apartment for a client she comes across a man in trouble and the adventures begin. Fun, and exciting.
Short story, but fun characters and world building, with all required elements. Dragons, goblins, love, action. Perfect evening read (or lazy rainy morning one for me).
This short story was just what I needed . My day has been horrible and this took me out of it. I have enjoyed several books by this author. I enjoy her characters and the way they react to the story, her description of the warehouse by the river, the sounds of the city. I just like the way she writes.
Started with a fast pace..great premise.. Had me hooked from the beginning.. My only complaint is I didn't want it to end! First time reading this author.. But looking for more by her.
